Dramatis Personae, Westmount's Community Theatre, has adapted to pandemic restrictions by presenting their Fall production as a live webinar on zoom. Christopher Moore directs the play, Bad Auditions on Camera, which was specially written for this format. Nine aspiring actors are auditioning from their homes for a part as the lawyer for the defence in Crime Court, a long-running soap opera. Unfortunately the actors are all completely unsuitable and their eccentric behaviour reduces the casting director to despair. Each scene is very funny, so mix yourself a drink, sit back and enjoy the performance which lasts about 50 minutes. There is some audience participation at the end.
